Urgent requests

  • If you are witnessing a dog attack currently in progress, please report it to the City by calling 1300 422 664. You can call this number 24-hours a day for urgent/high priority assistance.
  • This will allow an Officer to respond with the highest priority.

Investigations

The City will investigate incidents relating to dogs that:
  • attack a person or domestic animal
  • display aggressive behaviour (e.g. chasing or lunging in a manner that causes concern for your safety).

Type of animal

  • The City can investigate dog attacks only.
  • If attacked by wildlife, contact Wildcare on 9474 9055.

Raise a request

  • To request an investigation into a dog attack, please click on the report button below.
  • An Officer will take action as soon as possible as a matter of high priority.
